 I started the studio back in 1969 while teaching photography on public school and adult levels. My passion to create beautiful and classic wedding memories had me attending every professional program on posing and lighting, especially those offered by the CT Professional Photographers Assoc. To this day I and my staff of photographers and assitants continue to attend programs to stay current with the latest styles. For keeping a consistently high level of professional quality and ethics our studio was awarded Lifetime Membership in CPPA.
Located in the residential hills of Portland we pride ourselves on personal service, quality workmanship and competitive rates. Today we not only continue to service weddings, but provide quality studio and location portraiture for families as well.
Having had a gallery on Cape Cod, we continue to host the work of artist working in watercolor, acrylic, pastels and fine art photography. Our theatre photographs are a result of being married to a drama teacher and theatrical director.
With the digital revolution, the number of photographers has doubled in the past two years making your choice exceedingly difficult. Many offer to photograph your important event with minimal equipment and knowledge. Often the service stops there with the handing over of a CD and the responsibility for creating a finished product left to you. As a full time studio, our service continues after the event with internet hosting, retouched finished portraits, including our wedding photos, stock and custom framing, and designed finished albums.
